I have discovered so much about Tulips today. Namely that if you invert the petals they look like Daylilies 
. I finally have about 7 tulips coming up. Really nice, red/pink ones. Anyone else have late Tulips?
The Woodland Avens is also blooming now. It blooms almost 5 months earlier than Meadow Avens.

Yes, bc I planted some late. We've had up and down temperatures, but they're all blooming now.

Mine have been blooming for several days now. I planted them in fall 2010.
So do I understand you that you have tulips that will bloom in 5 months, in the fall?

Not here. Late sorta just means original now. They have so many tulips that come up with the Dils and Crocus that the normal May tulips are considered 'late'.
