So did anyone get pictures of the blood-moon eclipse?

I wanted to, but ended up with a fully blanketed sky of clouds and thunderstorms :(

I got up at 2:45am, but the sky was thick with clouds...no moon in sight. Bummer!

DH got up at the peak of the eclipse, and said it looked really cool. But he had difficulty getting any pictures because it was SO DARK. I think the idea next time will be to try and get the pics when its almost totally eclipsed, so there's some light, enough for the camera to pick up. At least our camera!

I woke up at 1am, which I think was supposed to be the end of the eclipse here.

Remembering that the Weather Service said that the sky cover should be 87%, went back to sleep.

With my camera, I have trouble getting a picture of the moon when it is full ! DW's camera should do a better job. I'd still have to contend with all the powerlines around here! Keeps me from taking sunrise/sunset pictures, too :\.

I didn't even try to get up. The next day I heard someone saying it was part of a prophecy. Any one know what this is supposed to be about?

In the future, I am planning to have any and all of my past statements retroactively connected to real events.

Science can go its own way, of course.
