Skeeter do you have a lot of rattlesnakes on your property? We have timber rattlesnakes here but are very very rare, I have never seen one.
Got some pictures of everything popping around here. Added pics of viburnum Chinese Snowball(?)

Very nice Wishin', thanks for sharing your spring with us! That wasp pic with the blue sky in the background is very striking. We've had a few wasps out and about here too, seems a little early to me, hope it's not going to be another year like the last one.

I looked up "hydrangeas", they are not hydrangeas, they are some sort of tree, I have no idea what kind

I thought the blooms looked like my Highbush Cranberry Viburnum, the leaves are different though, but they bloom in spring. Try viburnum Chinese Snowball, maybe?

Beautiful pictures! Sad about the bird, but sure reminded me of being in Oklahoma and finding blue jay feathers when I was a kid. They used to chase us if we rode our bikes or played under the big tree where their nests were.

I looked up viburnum Chinese Snowball, but the pictures that come up are all different. I will look them up again when I have time, and try to figure out exactly what kind they are.

That's just a guess, based on the height. There are many viburnums, but I'm not sure how many get that tall. A close-up of the leaf might help, and watch for berries later in the summer (if you have not noticed before?), the chinese snowball is sterile so no berries.

Now you really have me wishin' for spring!! Just lovely! I have a wisteria vine that grows like crazy- but I have only had it bloom once...a late frost always seems to get mine. Thanks for sharing those beautiful pics!
