I made a glorified macaroni and cheese with cauliflower, yellow squash, tomato (last year's frozen), and managed to slip in an eggplant (DH is not fond of eggplant, so I cut it small).

Salt zucchini, allow juice to drain for 15-20 minutes. They are good.

I made kitchen sink soup. Browned crumbled hamburger, water added, spices to taste. Then add everything but the kitchen sink, fresh from the garden.

Potatoes and green beans with bacon and chicken broth. I found a recipe called Raspberry Crumb Bar with Almond Streusel Topping and made that it is very good.

In medieval times they called it "garbage soup". I accidentally called my MIL's leftovers soup that one time. Took a while to convince her I wasn't insulting her cooking, lol
