We were at a farmers market with our lilies. We were talking to a family and their little girl, maybe 4, stopped dead in her tracks and said, "Lily, did you say Lily? That's my name." She and I had a long discussion about the beauty of the flowers and her name. It was so cute.

The front wall in front of the house is probably 100 years old-we matched the other side about 25 years ago. They did great job replicating it. There are ancient walls around the whole property that are the mortarless walls built by the early settlers. Most of them are in pristine shape.

Rose, Daisy, Lily, Daphne, Iris, Sage, Rosemary, Myrtle, Violet.......what else?
