HI, I'm in the Missouri Ozarks, gardening, raising animals and general homesteading. When we arrived on this property there was absolutely nothing here but trees, ticks and wildlife. We are still operating with less than modern conveniences, but we have come a long way, still so far to go.

Hiya, Freegrazer. I'm sort of in the "foothills of the Ozarks," as my dad used to call it. Are you in the leadbelt area? That is beautiful wild country up there.
You might want to get some guineas and/or chickens to take care of those ticks, if you don't have them yet.
Are you enjoying this unseasonal Missouri weather? I could stand this all year long. I don't even need snow for Christmas.
Welcome to the forum. How many acres are you tending?
