My wife uses the pizza cutter it works.

I've learned to use a very small pairing knife to cut little things for my younger one. That and to cut, turn the food to the flat side down & recut so it stays put. That one took me a while.

And keep your knifes sharp so they cut easier.

Have yall seen the one where they peel a bucket of potatoes with a garden hose and a toilet brush???

Looked pretty easy..
They put the toilet brush on a drill, dropped a bag of potatoes into a bucket, then filled the bucket and let the brush spin the spuds like a boat motor while keeping the hose shooting water into the bucket. The peels and any dirt washed out around the rim and they ended up with a bucket of clean spuds..... of course.... I suppose...... they assume that you START with a clean toilet brush.....

That makes more sense then! As long as I don't have to do the dirty work by hand! Oh how I hate cleaning toilets.....

Each to their own. Give me a toilet to clean anyday. My personal pet peeve is peeling potatoes! Potatoes make me nervous and most of the time I'd be better eating the peels than what's left after my mutilating. Lucky me, DH will willingly pare them for me if asked.

Yes, indeed! I've had a run-in with a potato peeler too and cut a chunk out of the tip of my pinkie. Fortunately it did grow back. I tend to just scrub well and leave my peels on most times, especially with homegrown 'taters.

I am with you there, @journey11! I've been trying to convince my family that they should appreciate the love that preserves the healthiest part of the potato for them to eat for years. DH still prefers them peeled even if he has to do it.
