Hi and welcome from east Texas! Year 1 for the garden? Not to worry, some of us are on year many and plenty, and still have some real sad looking places in our gardens! Sounds like a good list of vegetables that you have.

Angora rabbits are sooooo soft! Plus you have alpacas and sheep too! What kind of sheep do you have?

@Pucksfolly , have you tried using elderberries before? We have them all over the place here, not so far from you. They are ripening just now. I was making elderberry syrup this week for the first time and was really impressed with the pretty blue it turned my cheesecloth. :)

@baymule we have a romney/cheviot cross ewe and a hampshire cross ewe covered by a pure Icelandic ram. The lambs have the prettiest wool I've ever gotten my hands on :love. @journey11 I have every intention of hitting up the the field lines this weekend to get my hands on some elderberry and to see if the golden rod is coming into bloom yet. I have to bust out my dye book again and see whatelse is lurking just waiting for me . . . you'd think I would make a list or something :hide
