I am getting ready to make my grandson a quilt. It's supposed to be for his birthday, but with the cold nights we have been having lately, looks like he will get it early. I will post pictures.

Quilting, that's something I've never attempted, but I've thought about it, just thought...
.
My neighbor is a quilter, the last one was a wedding present for her son and daughter-in-law. She made it in blue and white, simply gorgeous.
Absolutely lovely Dew, it might look easy but it's not, quilts take a lot of talent and patience. Your grandson is a lucky little fellow. Just thinking about the sore back and numb bum, that along with matching up all those seams, an art in itself has stopped me from even trying to make one. I wouldn't mind being the recipient of one tho.

Yes it's flannel @Carol Dee . He has chewed the corners off of it. Guess it's time to make a new one for him. I just hope he doesnt chew the corners off the new one. I made my granddaughter one too for her birthday a few years ago.
I am going to attempt to make my mom a memory quilt with old pictures in it. I hope I can pull it off for Christmas

Here are pictures of a couple of new quilts I'm going to be working on soon. The green and blue one is going to be my mom's memory quilt. She has seen the colors and likes them, but doesn't know it's for her.
