This is Miss Ava's 2015 garden project with about 150 cloves and bulbils planted. We added a second raised bed as she wanted more space for growing. Today we added several inches of hay to mulch the garlic to help it survive our upstate New York winter. Weather service predicts a mild winter and I sure hope for once they are right. :frow

Nice. I planted some, did not cover. Mine survived last year, soil good.

Talk about a planner, she has already asked what she can plant after we harvest the garlic in July. I told her there will be plenty of time for a crop of green beans.
