My husband wants that lamp post to work. It's fine with me if it's just a garden ornament. So, he's having trouble figuring out how to do it solar. Now the project is slowing down, ugggg.

I know the scale is different, but my brother did some resoldering and a little bit of reworking to make an old kerosene lantern work on solar. he just used one of those cheapy solar walklights.

thistle, he went to lowes to see if they had a solar kit and nothing. Says he checked the internet and nothing. He has found a solar replacement for the entire bulb part that costs $99-150. I'm going to try to convince him just to paint it and install it for now and do the lighting later. I've checked pinterest and there is a DIY on making your lamp solar. I need to show it to him AGAIN.
