Mel, welcome to TEG, glad to have you here. I have been gardening in beds in my front yard for many years. I made red brick walkways and landscaped with squash, cucumbers, collard greens, tomatoes, butterbeans, green beans, peppers, eggplant, and corn for the summer garden. I planted marigolds, zinnias, had wild dandelions spring up, petunias and sunflowers in the mix for color and to attract bees. In winter I grew broccoli, mustard greens, green onions, garlic, cauliflower, carrots, lettuce and cabbage.
We are moving to acreage where I can have a bigger garden, but sometimes you just have to grow where you are planted. We would love to see pictures of your edible landscaping! You can grow a lot of food in small spaces!
