Well, it is starting to develop thorns on the new growth. Still, I guess I will keep it in a safe corner of the greenhouse, just because it is so interesting.
Bougainvillea flowering, again.

I love those beautiful bracts! Yours shows a far more perfect flower than mine ever seemed to have, but like the poinsettia it fades beside the colorful leaves.

There are some with three perfect flowers. Beginner's luck I guess. After the way I pruned it I am surprised it came back at all.

At this point I am beginning to wonder if it will ever stop flowering. It seems to like the out of the way spot I put it in in the greenhouse, so I am going to let it fight it out with the cucumbers and see who wins.

Thanks Mary, that is good to know, as, I know absolutely nothing about them. Perhaps I'll try to clone one, but I don't know what I will do with it, as I am running out of space.Jackb, mine never stops flowering but then I'm not in New York.

Grew them for years in the SF Bay Area. They are profuse bloomers, except for the coral colored ones - they were a bit less.
Unfortunately frost would kill them off every few years and I had to start over. Thorns? YES!!!
