Argh @dewdropsinwv you are right. I found new hills on the other side of the yard. Time for DH to set the traps.

I just talked to a friend who is giving me the number of "The Mole Man" who reportedly has a way to trap moles in buckets at night. I have no idea how. Maybe I will learn something. He reportedly caught 13 in one night in someone's yard. I will report back if it is truly a miracle. Keep your fingers crossed, for me, and for all of mankind.

If he does it, I would be interested in his method. DH bought ONE trap! I told he will have to get more. They have run amuck. :(

Possibly one of the methods I read about when I started my mole hunt adventure. You open active tunnels and dig a hole in the bottom of the tunnel, put a can in the hole so it's level with the mole's run. Moles are blind and they fall in. Fill the can halfway with water and they drown.

This sounded like too much digging for me, but if it works it's a cheap way to get 'em!
