Me too, getting up is really difficult, also getting in among things without trampling them is a problem, my feet have a mind of their own. I've posted a picture of this before but I got hubby to make me this out of a replacement handle and a piece of rebar. I just shove the rebar into the ground, hang onto the handle, bend to pull a weed or use it to lower my butt onto my stool or get up.

This plus a little grey step stool I can sit on is what I use, I can't remember the last time I kneeled to do anything out in the garden.

Hmmm I may be requesting DH fashion one for me. Thanks for the great tip.

LOL not only admit it but brag how good I was. I have a disco ball hanging from window box, at night when outside light is on whole side of house is covered in reflected dots of light just like dance floor.

I'm siding with Nyboy! Nothing wrong with roller skating -- disco or any other way. Bet the exercise kept him more shapely then, too.

Dad fell while ice skating with me. Mom insisted he tell the doctor he slipped on the sidewalk because she thought a man his age shouldn't be skating. Phooey! He should be thought old and clumsy, not active and athletic. NOT!
