My Vet is very affordable. SHE told me that the pharmecutical industry lobbied to get rid of a whole bunch of generic drugs that Vets used to use, taking advantage of Obamacare to change things in their favor. She used to be able to neuter a male cat for $20.00 NOW, it's $120.00, again, because of the cost of the drugs. THAT's why a heavier dog costs more to neuter than a lighter one. It absolutely stinks of greed! :rant

Zoe is really doing good. She walks on a leash now without pulling your arm out of it's socket. She wants to please I just think no one took time to train her. I do have a gut feeling she might be deaf.
My Australian Shepherd had a litter of pups many years ago and one of them was overly white. I was told by the breeder I took my dog to have her bred, to put the pup down. It was my first litter by her, and I just couldn't do it. Sure enough, the pup was not totally deaf, but for all practical purposes, deaf. Her one trick was to grin. On command, she would screw her face into the most ridiculous grin, that all who saw her, fell in love with her. She allowed herself to be mauled by children, loving every minute of it. She had a wonderful home and gave love and joy all the years of her life.
The cavalier king charles has a 80% chance of going deaf by age 8. But they only live to about 9.
Told Ya ! :tongue
