Ohhhh boy... Big sigh, big deep breath... BEEN HERE with the modeling thing, myself (believe me long time ago between high school, and getting real in college) AND daughter... WAY to much to write... I recognize many agencies on ELF site.... ah geeze, I'm simply not going to be the gloom...
I will miss the sunflowers while my garden goes back to nature, but I will see the faces, burning and dancing in the fall colors that make blankets under my trees...........
NICE!!!! I'm jealous. I just read Novella Carpenter - Farm City... Her story of having a garden, bees, chickens, turkeys and even pigs in a small city lot! Anyhow, I read the Bee part over and over, I want to do that too!! I sure hope you post here alot as your adventure unfolds! :bee...
Bout what? I'm sure I did - LOL You mean war by vegetables?! HAH Rock on, I'd come armed with 2 year old peeps (you know the marshmellow stuff) and a flinging spoon!! We actually have "peep flinging" competitions at Easter, the ducks like it when we hit the pond behind our house....
Ohhhh where to start and actually find a place to end with how I can SO RELATE! I have to just scratch my head at how quickly people make the decision to have angst vs peace with neighbors. It happens just as fast as you said - making the decision to stick the fat face out and let the gums flap...
Now that you mention it, I'm not finding the instructions for how to create a page and how to upload images anywhere... There is a great "how to" on BYC so I just knew how when I created a page here. I bet I've over looked the instructions out here somewhere but in the event that I havent, it...
Awe, I'm sorry.... I get that way too.....
Here are some happy Alaska pics of mine plus some someshine and butterflies and hopes for a smiley tomorrow for you!!
Because it's Sat night and I should be doing pretty much anything other than sitting on my computer.....
Oh and WHY havent you long timers made pages? I want to SEE gardens, get ideas, come on, get with it.....:happy_flower
Awe, thanks for kind words. I'm really not a "tidy manicuring" type, I'm quite all over the place with my garden which includes hoses! If you've ever seen the "want to get away" SW Airlines commericial -where the lady is out in her robe, early morning, cup of coffee in 1 hand, tugging hard on...
Whoa..... You ARE GOOD! :bow Indeed Clematis seedheads... This is what it looks like in "sort of bloom." My page has LOTS of pics, trying to remember to take them when things look great.......... I missed the photo opp on my big roses this spring and actually they didnt do so hot this fall...
This little guy looked exactly like yours last year, from neglect.... I did nothing but pay more attention to it when watering and added compost this spring... Just took pic today... I know the fungus is bad but sometimes it just goes away, clearly.... GOOD LUCK!
ohhh lavender is "my thing" I LOVE it!! I've had a very hard time (but not impossible) growing it in Florida, as you said, NOT a problem in Seattle... But no matter where I go, I give it way more sand and gravel to ensure good drainage. In E Oregon my Dad grows it out of clay soil only by...
Oh boy, if you look at my geography, you may ask me to just go away.... you know I'm in the rose capital... acid soil and you cant even kill them - all kinds.... a rose gardeners own paradise.... I have many.... I wasnt used to that being from Alaska! And I had never even seen a rodie...
What if you also take photos of how good the fence looks with the morning glories and umbrella plant as it was, before she ripped them out, tape them to the bare, lifeless hole she must have made, with a message: "coming back soon to this fence"!
The "before painting stage" is sometimes my...
