My goodness Bay! What a day you've had. I sure wished your sister had listened to your mom about where to buy land. So sorry that trip got cancelled. You need to really try and make it in a year or so hopefully. You will have great memories from it. Glad your sister has you to help her on...

Bay, silly city gal question here. Could you use sprinklers to water during the summer or is it still too hot for the grass to grow? If you use more water with sprinklers does your bill go way up? I see farmer's watering their alfalfa here even with our drought. Maybe it's different in...

You are correct. Security said the box was too big and I told him my husband travels with his golf set which is the same size as my box. He asked what was in it and I said a sapling. He asked what was that and I told him just a teansy little branch tree haha. He let me pass it through! Mary

Can't believe you already have 35 ewes towards your goal of 50. Seems like it wasn't that long ago that you got sheep. I like your method of building up your flock to be registered and recorded. Maybe by next year you'll get there? That palace pen came out looking good. Have you thought of...

Thank you farmerJan for the suggestion. I went ahead and got a cattle panel. My husband cut some of the grid off so it has "feet" and he also drove in some 1/2" pipe that he had. It worked great. Mary

You have accomplished soooo much Bay! I want to get a cattle panel that's 16' x 4' to make a garden trellis. I probably need more like 3' wide so my husband will have to cut it. Can't find them any narrower than 4' around here. Question, should I cut some of the bottom grid off so I can have...

    Your Weather, 2024

Going to be 64* and sunny today! Being sunny is what makes a difference and makes it feel so nice and warm. Going for my walk at 9:30 today. It will be 56* then but I know it will feel nice and sunny. Just need to make sure I walk on the sunny side of streets, haha. Mary

    Your Weather, 2024

It has been chilly here at high 50's*. Windy which I think is coming off of Alaska. Finally this week it will be dry. Still chilly though and makes it hard for me to get motivated to get my walk in. Oh the problems I have. Mary
