We seemed to have been lax this fall in pumpkin sharing. Or am I missing a thread? I have found the perfect pumpkin, Mrs. Wrinkles.

Mrs. Wrinkles is a beautiful pumpkin with a lovely family. Perfect? Only a pumpkin pie will tell.

I never, ever get perfect pumpkins!

First of all, @catjac1975 , my "pumpkin" pies are buttercup squash pies. Buttercup pies are more perfect ..!

Big Doris was big and fairly pretty in 2013 but Rock Star is one I've grown for years and nearly as big this year as Big Doris! But, you know about rock stars -- they are always flawed ...

As Jack o'Lanterns, Rock Stars can be pretty ... scary!

I have not cooked one yet. I have my favorites, Rumbo, also. They make the best pie, and can be roasted for a delicious sweet squash. I will definitely try pie with the Mrs.
