Probably figures any germs will be boiled away. ;) (No double dipping in my kitchen either!)

You would think he might offer a veggie broth for the vegan customers. The bone broths are so much healthier though, all that good stuff in there.

First time I ever made turkey broth as a newlywed, from a smoked turkey we'd had for Thanksgiving, I was freaked out when it turned to gelatin in the fridge. Didn't know any better so I tossed it out. :eek: (Not something I remember my mom making, so I had no idea.)

last night we finished off the other turkey,so those bones are in the freezer..

yup i use the same spoon to taste, but at least it's washed off. honestly will usually ladle a small bowl to sample to see if any adjustments need to be made...

love smoked turkey broth.....

No eating out of the pot in my family. Took me years to stop nephew from drinking milk out of container, I think he still does it when I am not around.
