I don't know if you'd be interested, but I have a recipe with similar ingredients, which I can eat with just about anything, that I'd like to share with you, since you were so nice to share with us.
A. J. Hot Slaw
Mix into a large non-reactive pot:
Brown Sugar, cup
White Sugar, cup
Vinegar, 1 cup
Mustard, yellow (wet, such as Frenches.), cup
Black Pepper, 1/8 teaspoon
Paprika, Sweet, teaspoon
Cayenne, teaspoon
Salt, 1 teaspoon
Add:
Cabbage, 1 large head, shredded
Carrots, 4, shredded
Onions, 2, chopped
Red Bell Pepper, 1, chopped
Green Bell Pepper, 1, chopped
Cook, stirring on and off, until cooked, and liquid is thickened, or greatly reduced.
Depending on pot and stove, 20 minutes to 2 hours.
Keep in the ice box.
