I have never tried the pickled okra, nor liver mush. My mom would eat/drink the boiled p'nuts in a bottle of coca cola.

Iced tea...can be sweetened or un-sweetened. I learned back in 2008, when I moved back to SC, one MUST specify "UN-sweet tea"...or else. All "tea" is heavily sweetened. :sick :sick

That was cute!
Then I got trapped in the Weird Vortex and kept clicking on different vids. The one where people eat strange stuff that they had eaten in childhood was a little awful. :sick

will admit there are some southern foods that i have tried and will not ever touch again. liver sausage,chittens, pickled pigs feet, pickled eggs,red hot dogs.

2 of my kids are Southern. My 30 yr old son..he was born in Charleston Naval Hospital....July 4th!! Charleston SC.
My youngest...daughter..she was born in Biloxi MS.
