This little lady came up next to a pine tree this year. I don't recall planting anything there.
It's TALL!!! Probably at least 36". As it grew, it put out tiny little yellow flowers that later turned into berry looking things.
It's really pretty and I'm hoping that it will spread for next year.
Any ideas???

Cane try looking up lysmachia punctata or lysmachia vulgaris.
They are commonly called yellow loosestrife, but have no relation to the noxious purple loosestrife.

I thought that also at first, but the blooms alternate the stem, lysimachia circle the stem, and I've never seen pods like that on mine. I thought maybe a primrose, curiosity got me of course so I had to hunt it down ... agreeing with @PhilaGardener, my best guess would be moth mullein.
