We have a stray tom cat that has been coming around here lately and he has peed all over my porch. What a horrible smell! :thDH is after him to remove him from the scene, but meantime, I am getting ready to have people up for Savannah's 3rd birthday party this weekend. I hate for my guests to be greeted by that stench. Does anyone have any ideas of what I might use to clean and deodorize my porch? Is there anything that will take out that smell? :( Fortunately we are out of the deep freeze temps now so I can get out there and wash it without getting frostbite!

I think the Natures Miracle is an enzyme that takes time to work. May not have time to get the odor out by this weekend, if I remember how we used to use it.
Can you just wash the offending area down with bleach water or pinesol? Maybe it dissipates faster outside than it does inside......

It says 4 days to ship so it probably wouldn't make it here in time, but I will order it for later. :p $27 well spent, I hope!

I'm gonna send DH to buy a blacklight for me, so I can find the spots. That should save me some time scrubbing! I do have some Pinesol on hand.

I am so worn out from dealing with messes this past month! The carpet did clean up well and the peroxide was a lifesaver. Then there was all the uncontrollable peeing from the prednisone they gave the dog. She has never peed in the house before or since. Her cancer tumor finally fell off after I put a turmeric paste on it. Not sure if the turmeric itself did it, or just the conditioning effect of the other things like coconut oil that I put in there. Her spot has quit bleeding and is healing up now! :celebrate Then the girls were horseplaying the other night right before bed and Savannah's nose met up with the back of Ava's head. Oh my goodness, I would never have thought a nose could bleed like that, everywhere all over my bed. Seriously, I cannot take any more bodily fluids exploding in or on my house right now.

I posted this on another thread, not sure if it will work for you with kids and dog. Get the old snap spring mouse traps, and put them where the cat pees. Just make sure you use the little ones for mice, bigger rat traps might serious hurt cat. $1 store has then in 2 packs cover the whole area with traps.

Can't help with the cleanup but removing said Tomcat is the only way he will stop now that he has started. Do you have a live trap? Cat food is not always going to do the trick. Try something real tempting like sardines for bait.

And what's wrong with seriously hurting a peeing tom cat NYboy?
We had one that was coming around, beating up my cats, peeing on the front door and on the big rolling door of my equipment shed.
DH winged him but didn't get a fatal shot in. I still see him around, slinking through the brush, but I don't think he's been back to my property.
I have something for him if he changes his mind and wants to come back.

If he is no one's pet, I agree that he probably needs to be eliminated. And I'm a cat lover, but not stray toms.
