I'm on BYC a lot, hence the chicken themed name. BYC has been a very handy community, so as an avid gardener it seems obvious that I could learn lots from the people here and share my experience as well.

Well my garden is ever expanding, I have a few flowerbeds, a couple raised vegetable beds, a 16 x 46' hoop frame greenhouse which is my favourite place to spend time, especially right now because there's some young chickens and they're helping me clean it out. I'm expanding the outdoor beds near my greenhouse this year. I like to grows unique vegetables and heirloom vegetables, everything is grown as organic as I can.

I only did BYC for a short time.. but never really liked the "vibe" there.

I gardened in small beds for 10 years at our previous home. Amazing how much I raised in small areas. We moved in February to 8 acres. I can finally plant watermelons! LOL

Hi Hennible, welcome. What zone are you in up there? I have only been to Victoria, but I thought it was so beautiful and lush.

I'm zone 3. Nice and cold, to top it off I live in a "frost pit". Worst summer on record here had only 1 frost free day. What zone are you in so lucky?
