I hesitated to come here today. Like all of you I'm grieving a friend I never met. I didn't want to be reminded of the reality of his finality.

But then I was thinking as I lay sleepless last night that maybe it would be a good thing to dedicate a thread to our friend Alex, to share memories.
There are so many! His generosity was well known to us all, and his funny misspellings that could make a laugh erupt by the way it seemed to change the intent of his comment.

Oh Alex Nyboy we are missing you so much.

I loved his exasperation with his pop and the funny way he would phrase his emotions about the visits and dinners.

He was interested in EVERYTHING! No matter what subject came up, if he didn't have something to add, he had questions to ask.

I had thought about doing a memorial thread too in his honor. Its nice to see someone also has done this. Ive only been on here two weeks and had already gotten to love his posts and jokes. It just doesnt seem fair.RIP Alex.

How about, "I found this on Craig's List, do you think this is a good deal?" and it would be some bit of rusty garden gate or something that was priced astronomically high and all you could do was grin and shake your head, knowing he'd probably buy it anyway, no matter how much it costs.
