Despite my attempts at prevention, I've noticed one of my tomato plants is brown/black and boggy on the bottom (bottom end rot?). What can I do for them? I think I've heard that a weak solution of powdered milk would work?
My sunflowers are going crazy, but I noticed quite a few of the lower leaves are turning brown. New leaves are growing just above all the brown ones-is htis normal? If not, what can I do for them?:/

I swear by raised bed (square foot) gardening, initially not by bad back, but by bad soil and laziness.
Now I can join the bad back club!:/

That said, the bottoms of my raised SFG are linseed...
So the one is thriving, the other seems to be makinga slight come back. If it is blight, should I pull it immediately? I also gave seedlings to a friend, and hers are ok so far...should I warn her, or...very confusing....:/
