    Hmm, it does have some striking similarities to peony shoots I'm seeing online. That could be it. But my bf said that it didn't flower last year, only foliage. Do peonies not flower until after so many years?

    What Are You Planting Today, This Week, This Month?

    Began sprouting an Avocado seed today! My nieces and nephew are fascinated by the idea of growing a tree indoors, and frankly so am I. We already bonded over making upside down tomato hangers out of recycled bottles this summer. Which is actually working! Tomorrow, carrots!

    when to harvest potatoes?

    Okay, so when i planted my taters the instructions on the package sai that when the sprouts reach 5-6 inches of height I should cover them up with dirt then layer straw on top to keep them cool.
