PunkinPeep - Did you try rooting cuttings last fall? Any success? I didn't know about pruning PLUS I thought it was supposed to overwinter, so I have lost mine. I want to buy another this year and use it to start others if possible. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I have ordered from them several times, but it has been a while. I always received healthy stock.

I'm gettng ready to try to grow some lettuce as well. I would have started it earlier, but my basement window has been mostly covered by nearly a foot of snow.

I did a search on lettuce and window sill and found this. I was wondering if anyone has had success growing it and what temps the room was. Thanks for any advice.

I am in south-central Indiana now, orginally from Speedway/Indianapolis. Man am I glad to be out of the city!
