I tried asprin water on my less than stellar raised bed garden and I am impressed!!! My one tomato plant that WOULD NOT fruit did, the melon vines that weren't flowering are (and I have one female flower - yay!) and my peppers, corn, etc. all seem much healthier and growing faster. I'm impressed!!!

I have 5 4x4 raised beds with a mix of garden soil, peat moss and compost (store-bought). My beans and eggplant are hardly growing at all (beans were about 2" long and never grew more than that) the pole beans haven't produced any beans at all. All squash/melon plants are growing very slowly...
I would do an experimental dig and see if you have any potatoes. If you planted regular baking potatoes you may want to wait until all the leaves have died back so you have large potatoes. If you planted other kinds you could have some really nice new potatoes waiting for you!
