Hello Everybody......I haven't checked in for a while. I hope everyone is doing great and getting their gardens finished up. It's been drizzling on & off today so we won't be outside much. We do sure need the rain though. Dh has the garden planted and my brother just added some brussel sprouts...

We really need to get Raz and green thumbers over here from BYC. Fuzzbutt has pretty green thumb I believe. Did you see that bean stalk she had growing in her living room? The internet does take up & can be addicting but I hop on and hop off....frequently when I get the chance. Bunnies don't...

Maybe it's one of their speciality wines or something......a special formulation & aging process. Can't say......all I know is that I like to drink the stuff! lol

    Planting Grapes

Good Morning All, we have decided to plant some grapes this year. I was wondering if they should be planted in a certain direction....rows running N & S or E & W? Our garden runs east & west but we plant the rows so they are north & south. Does it matter for grapes...

    Chicken proofing your garden?

I was just asking myself this question. I really hate to have to put a fence up but those fluff balls love to go in there. I really don't mind for we always seem to plant way to much :tools I always joke that we could open up a roadside stand. It's my DH who it seems to bother.

Yeah, I prefer Sweet Red Wine.....the sweeter the better. DH saw where someone had concord grapes that needed pruning & that if the shoots are planted now we could have grapes in the fall. Something else to add to add to My To Do List for the weekend.

Good Evening Gardeners, My DH & I were discussing planting some grapes. I want to put a split rail fence some where out back for them climb up on. I was thinking Concord grapes would be great.....ohhhh, the jam and wine I could make!! Plus I figured...

This is good to know for I am so green about asparagus. We have never planted it, usually took the easy way out & bought it from the market or better yet picked it wild. I guess I'll check and see whats available in my area and go from there. Thanks for the reply.

Morning , Still dark out there & I'm trying to adjust to the time change. Talked to DH about planting asparagus & I think were gonna give it try. Haven't looked at the weather forecast for today but hoping it's just as nice as it was yesterday.
