I cut open a tomato the other day and the seeds had started sprouting inside the tomato. It was a little strange and I was just wondering if anyone has ever had this happen before or if anyone knows what caused it.

My rabbit stripped my okra plants to nothing but the center stem. After about 6 weeks they recovered and sprouted new leaves, but only at the top so we only got one or two pods at a time from each plant.
Our rabbit did the same thing to our hot peppers. Everyone at the feed store and the pet store kept saying that animals won't eat the hot pepper plants but every time we let him out of the cage he would go straigt for the peppers.
When I say sand I don't meen sandy soil, I mean actual sand. It's like a beach in my yard. I have been watching them build other houses in the neighborhood and I think what they do is dig up the whole property and use the dirt and clay to bake a raised base for the foundation and then fill the...
Can I prow potatoes in sand? We just moved into a new house and our backyard is nothing but sand. Will potatoes grow in this? Do I need to fertilize them more? Do I need to add anything to it?
We use hay in the barn. Every two or three weeks we clean out the barn and use the hay for mulch in the garden. We don't compost or anything, just keep piling it on. When you water your plants the poo will slowly leach into the soil. It seems to work fine for us.
If a tree says that it is self-fertile does that meen that if I plant only one I will still get fruit or does it meen I only have to have one variety to get fruit?:/
I bought 7 fruit trees from Home Depot last week, but they had no idea how old they were. I have a santa rosa plum, green gage plum, fuji apple, red del. apple, golden del. apple, red haven peach, and an elberta peach. They are all about 3 1/2 feet tall. The tags don't tell much more than how...
If I plant grapevines now how long will it be before I get fruit? I just picked some up the other day at Home Depot and they said I can plant then now, but knew nothing else.
