After rains and freezing for us temperatures it was so warm and nice today! Really enjoyed my walk this morning and decided to take another one this afternoon. Tomorrow will be nice at 65* but then more rain on Tuesday and Wednesday ugh. But looking forward to Thursday and Friday at 68. Mary

Steve we have a fire on the way to the cabin. HWY was closed but air quality at our cabin was moderate. On our way there to work on the deck so hopefully you can’t smell the smoke. Our daughter is joining us with her dog that had a respiratory infection and she was concerned.

A few years ago I got inspired by DigitS’ to plant shallots. I planted them around October and they took a full year to grow! Well that was tying up my valuable real estate so I stopped. Planted these this year from starts and they are huge! Will definitely continue to plant starts.

Well I'm on a roll with the ice coffee. Today I had a chocolate mint protein shake and decided to add some coffee and ice to it. It was pretty good especially on another hot day here. Mary
