I finally have a big garden spot (40' x 40') already established and have plenty of room to expand, if needed. My goal is to grow & can all of the vegetables that we eat throughout the year. My inspiration for growing my own food is that I know where it came from, under what conditions it was grown, what chemicals (or hopefully LACK of chemicals) was used, I know that it's healthier & more nutritious, I'll be cutting my grocery bill drastically & will have plenty of food should an emergency occur.
