    Last year I grew pumpkins, cantaloupes, and watermelons together and they did fine. Of course you need plenty of space though. They shouldn't cross pollinate with each other though.

    I would leave the cantaloupes alone and let them mature in there own time. If they are already golf to baseball size it will only be a week or two until they're ready.
