Great idea for squash bugs

Great idea, I have been tearing of a bit of leaf as I have not been real good at squashing them on the leaves, or having them rolla way from me (to hatch elsewhere!) while trying to scrap them off.

Genius!! For some reason I haven't been overrun with them this year...(knock on wood), but that is a fabulous idea!

Do you have to collect the eggs or is taking them off and dropping them enough?

I remove them entirely. I don't know if they can hatch on the ground and still find the plants, but I'm not willing to risk it.

I havent seen squash bugs on mine yet, but I have other weird creatures are on my plants, Im gonna buy a big roll of duck tape and give it a try!, But I have been smashing them with my fingers anyway...
