My mom gave me a Mr. Coffee brand bread machine years ago. I used it a lot at first, but like Lesa said, The bread was not as nice as oven baked. I used whole wheat, maybe that's why... But the little kneader had to be dug out of mine too. I used it for dough for awhile, but it takes up so much room in the cupboard I gave it away. As a time saver it's great, but I really like kneading the bread by hand, It's kind of therapeutic.
