Greetings!
I have this jasmine with no name! It is blooming now in my greenhouse. In zone 8, where it is a perennial it blooms late in Feb. It has single and double yellow flowers. It is the only jasmine I know that its blooms are not fragrant, at day or at night. JackB? Anybody?

I don't suppose it's Carolina Jessamine?
I can't make out the flower form or the foliage real well from your pic, but then CJ is very fragrant, so that's probably not close.

Thistle, I once bought some Carolina Jessamine (3 of them) for our church fence. They were not fragrant.

This is what I immediately thought it was.

Thistlebloom and Mary,
Foliage and flowers of my yellow jasmine don't match with Carolina Jasmine's.
If you click on the little picture, you get a bigger picture.

Oh! Duh... that makes sense!
And I discovered if you click twice it enlarges again. :)

Mary, the Yellow Jessamine I used to grow was very fragrant....different varieties
maybe?

Strictly a guess; Winter jasmine (J. nudiflorum)

jackb
Thank you, Jack!
I read about jasminum nudiflorum somewhere that it is not fragrant like other jasmines, as is the case with my flowers. However, my jasmine is never naked and the flowers are not shaped like a trumpet, in my opinion!

Here is a twisted closer view of my flowers.

On the twisted subject, my uploaded pictures, sometimes appear turned around. The above picture needs to be turned 45 degrees clockwise to be upright! Does any one have a fix?

How about Primrose Jasmine, mesnyi. There are claims it is scented and claims that it is not. :idunno
But I think it closely resembles your double flowers.

Top Tropicals says it is slightly scented at night.

I think Lavender is right, I would say its the primrose or japanese variety.

I actually thought that is what I bought from a labelled vine years ago. Turned out to be honey suckle instead! lol
