I already posted this on BYC, but wanted to share here too. Today I went out to the hoop coop and discovered that one of the chickens has laid.............a potato! :)

The hoop coop is on the garden for the winter. There are leaves in there for them to scratch around in, but most of the winter the ground is frozen. Apparently, it has thawed now, because I went in to find that someone had dug a big crater. In the bottom of the crater was a large potato. It was like they had carefully cleared around it!

@Kassaundra there is no way I am bored with the updated pictures of your chicks! They are so entertainingly weird looking! I love them! Please keep posting pictures of them as they grow.
