I am making a narrow walkway behind my 5' bed to have better access from the back. This little path will be between my raspberries which are against the fence and the perennial bed. It is already so much nicer to walk back there.

The problem is that a plant of iris's are blocking me from continuing. Can I move these now? They already bloomed in the spring. The plant still looks healthy and has not started dying out yet.

I've moved them in the summer before. Should be fine. Just don't leave them lying around in a bag for long. I learned that the hard way.

Careful though, I moved mine and half of them changed color.

Cane, mine are just the usual purple color so I wouldn't mind if they changed into something else. :D I am going to move them this Sunday, I hope they stay perky. We have a birthday party comin up and I don't want them to look bad/sad. :(
