When I first saw it, I searched and searched to make sense of the pink bird.....
Then when @ninnymary pointed it out I thought "DUH! Right there, plain as day!"

Beautiful @Kassaundra - as always.

Gary thought it was a watering can. He couldn't figure out why I was putting so much effort into a pink and yellow watering can. lol

My niece was over the other day she didn't like her winter hat, she wanted a purple and pink sparkly princess hat, so I went to Hobby Lobby to find some yarn and this is what I ended up making, it is a surprise, but I need to figure out a superman hat for her brother before I can give it to them.

Thanks, I love it, thinking about making one for me too, but not in purple and pink. I have plenty more of the purple sparkly eyelash thread, so maybe that w/ black fluffy thread.

Thought this would be a good thread for this. My niece in Tennessee just gave birth to a healthy boy. They are doing great. It's her first and my brother's second grandkid.

My wife is a weaver as a hobby. As a gift for the baby she made a baby blanket using the official State of Tennessee tartan. Until she did this I did not know that most states, universities and a lot of other things have registered an official tartan.

She actually made two of these baby blankets. Her weaving guild members are weaving baby blankets to be donated to a battered women's shelter. This one goes to the shelter.

Oh and the quilt. Mom made that several years back but recently gave that to us.

Wow, the blanket and the quilt are both beautiful. If your wife would like to post anymore of her work, I, for one, would be interested to see it.
