I like that poster, too, even if I don't consider myself a secondhand vegetarian. Nope, I am a canine pure and simple! While I really do enjoy a big salad, I can get downright nasty if someone takes my steak away.

One is the Regale Deli, between 15th and 16th on 5th (though they don't always have it) the other is the University deli, corner of 11th st. and 4th ave (basically Madison becomes 4th as it runs through the area just above Union Square, the same way Lexington becomes Irving place and 3rd becomes Cooper Union/ Bowery and 1st becomes Allen.)

Went to the latter place today, and I realize I TOTALLY messed up the description. It's actually called the University Gourmet (not deli) it's on University place (duh!) which is what becomes Madison (4th becomes Park) and 13th (not 11th). Also, the calamari isn't all that much like KFC (though it is still very good) it's too granular (more like a cornmeal texture that the batter like KFC coating)
