just wondering @so lucky
how are you taking the photos photo, digital camera ?
where are you saving them i-pad, desktop ?
@majorcatfish , these are taken with my smartphone, and posted from there. I tried to use the built in program on my new Windows 10 laptop, but something doesn't work right, and I can't download any pics whatsoever. I need to get someone a little more savvy than I am, to sit down with me and walk me through some things, but the people I know who can do that, don't seem to be able to sit still long enough. So I am happy to have found I can do this.

have found out that forums and smartphones don't like each other.
if this helps..
take a photo on the phone
e-mail that photo to yourself
save the photo to your laptop usually it will go to download
once saved it's going to be 90 degrees off
click on the photo this should bring up the photo
click on the edit button find the rotate left or right icon
rotate it till straight, click save should say... updating original
you should be go to post...

also you can always go to where you purchased and ask what am i doing wrong... or just send them to me
love the foot bridge

Thanks, @Carol Dee. It's kind of a PIA to post messages on my phone, due to how small the screen is, etc. But doable.
@majorcatfish, I will try it that way, Thanks. I know I need to go back to Best Buy and have them coach me.
It's just that trying to understand and absorb what a computer geek is saying, the first time, is pretty difficult.

Perhaps the BB geek*could direct you to a U-Tube showing how to fix your photos. I've found the right U-Tube to be really helpful.

*Geek sounds so disrespectful, but that's the name they give to themselves. I love geeks!

Glad you've found a way that works well enough for you now. If you are looking for a way to store your phone pics (as storage space can run out fast if you take a lot), you might want to look into www.Shutterfly.com . I store all of my digital camera pics there and also have my hubby's iPhone set up with their app to automatically upload and store the pics he takes. (He has lost--broken--and had his phone stolen more times than I can count!) There is "cloud" storage too, if you have purchased or have that included in your contract, but the Shutterfly is nice because you can order prints from there, there is no limit on how much you can upload, and you can also edit and share them from their site too. We have his set up to do the uploading when his phone is running on our WiFi so we don't exceed his data plan. The account is totally free. I order from them often and they have good deals on stuff like photo calendars, enlargements, fridge magnets, etc. Easier than going to Walmart for prints, plus they arrive in your mailbox. :)

Sometimes, I only upload a photo from the phone to a thread.

Then, I click the TEG "save draft."

Later, I come back on the tablet or PC. There's my picture in the saved draft. I can use a larger keyboard to put some words with it.
