One of my clearance crab apples produces pears :lol:

Lucky you.

I don't remember exactly, probably around five years growing from seed to get the first blooms. There were not many blooms but I was glad to see them.

Pears from crab apples? That's a good one.

My sister once planted a Bradford pear on her terrace near the street. It mutated into a Bartlett pear tree. High school students on their way to school would stop and pick a pear or two for the day. My long apple picker insured that my sister had plenty of good pears for her own use.

There's a CVS Pharmacy where the house and tree once sat.

My wife inherited an Antique cast iron Keystone clamp onto table or counter top meat grinder (manufactured by CI.Co. in Boyertown, Pa.) from her mother who inherited it from her mother. The top entrance hole on top is 3" x 2" on top and the exit hole for the ground food is 2" diameter. My wife still uses it from time to time.

Why don't you just delete this one and retype this response in the thread you wanted it in. Or cut and paste, then go back and delete.
