Yup! aka: coral bells and alum root. That one is called "Midnight Rose". It has dark leaves with splashes of light rose on them. One of my faves.

Just lovely @Smart Red , I love Heucheras too. I have a few, they're coming out with ones with such gorgeous foliage I'm finding it hard to resist.

Those sure are pretty! I have tried to get started on having a yard, but so far, not so much. I admire pretty yards and the catalogs that show up make it so hard to resist! Thanks for post pictures of your heucheras, I want some!

Beautiful! I love the bright colors and variety of heucheras. I bought 3 a couple years ago and promptly killed them. Seems they don't like wet feet.

They do well in shade and well-drained but moist soil. Still, I've seen them growing in the sun and looking beautiful all summer long at a school near hear. Perhaps that's mostly morning sun, but sun none-the-less.

Beautiful pictures Red!!!

Few years ago before we moved I bought 4 and never got to them. All in 1 gallon pots, and forgot to plant them. Survived winter, next spring they came back up. They rooted into the ground. Cut the pot away ripped them off the grass, planted them, fed them and now they are still thriving in the shade last time I saw them.

I did not know there were that many different varieties. Need to re-evaluate the shade I have and start planning for them again. They really are eye catching.
