Wifey picked the size 8'X8', where it would be placed. But couple things, like it had to have a top plate and the door had to have a header and cripples, they call them Jack Studs now, I cut it and they nailed it. We had a great store of 3/4" marine plywood, she wanted to use, so the walls are heaaaavy, we, the girls and I, could have put up the wall today, but they won't let me lift the wall with them and it requires 3 people, they are heavy!

Well, it's like this, I can be real clumsy, we had a pile of wall frames so I fell backwards onto/into them, it hurt pretty good. So any way we have to wait for wife, before setting the walls. Feel like: Tool Man Taylor.

The floor is set, we just have to stand the walls, and the rafters, they bought, corrugated cream colored fiber or plastic roofing.

I could a lifted the walls, you know, the three of us.

Valley ... I would reconsider using the fiber / plastic roofing. Will have condensation on them in the mornings from atmospheric humidity and drip , drip. Would defeat the whole purpose of a dry tackroom.:th :idunno

You think so, more than metal, never notice that to happen where we've used fiberglass or plastic. Annnnnnnnnnnd this is not my project, there are some things I'd do differently. I'll mention that and see if it changes anything, I have plastic on walls and roof of the greenhouses and some sheds and see no condensate, I think it's a go.

It was windy when we were raising the walls, that was a bit scary. The west wall to skiers right, west, is 6" shorter to give s bit of slope, the rafters are long to the west also for the rain~but the rain will come at a 45degree angle so ist will hit the wall in any case.
