I bought a used brush hog off CL this spring. Loved it unfortunately so did my nephew, when I asked about it he told me, he makes to much money with it to give back :he:he I think I paid $100 it was in great shape.
It is wonderful that he is working hard. Didn't his girlfriend have a baby? He thinks of your more as a father from what you have said. A child would be more apt to so blithely "borrow" a tool and keep it. My kids are good however and alway ask and we get things back. They also will help us out with anything we need/ Especially my SIL the dad of my darling boys that I have baby sat for for years. They have told us that we saved them at least $10,000 a year for many years. He is always willing to give us a hand. I would ask for some help in return. I hope he has grown up and this becomes a lifelong trend.

He is working very hard. I am very proud of him. I just wish he would learn the simple task of wiping his feet before entering house. I swear I could teach a monkey easier. His son is turning 1 year old this month. His other son is turning 7 in April. My nephew turns 28 in April wants me to co sign loan for professional mower. He came a long way if my accountant oks it I will. He is much more like a son then nephew.

Make sure a copy of the loan statement is sent to you. If he falls behind he may be too embarrassed to tell you. Young people think nothing of paying a loan late. If he can't pay make sure he knows it goes back to you. Loam care is big business but he had to keep up with it. Too much rain and no rain effect income..

using herbs as ground cover. this is another great idea. i've been wanting to add a couple of raised beds in the front yard, but have been worried the neighbors would object. if i plant some herbs around the beds, that would help much.
thanks for the idea.

My problem with grass is when it comes up IN the planting. Here is my cranesbill geranium this spring. I can not seem to be able to pull out grass. It just breaks off. Any suggestions?
