I bought some dried ones at the store and they are sweet and tasty. I sprinkle them on salads. I also bought 2 plants at TSC, we'll see how it goes.

A few years ago I purchased some goji berries at the health food store. Each berry had hundreds of seeds inside so I planted some of them in a six pack. I think every seed sprouted kept 3 and planted them in the yard. 2 of them were in to much shade and failed to grow much the third one took off and grew. In three years it got about 4' tall, it is probably still growing where I planted it. We don't live there anymore so I don't know if it is producing or not. The berries are not the most flavorful they were dried not fresh. I may start some more to plant here and try again.

I thought I had a goji berry bush, and told my friend Kristine to try some. A short time after eating them she got very sick. We where on our way to dinner I had to pull over to side of road so she could empty her stomach. They where elder berries poisonous till cooked. :hide

Treat with TLC and you can supply seeds in a few years.... if you find out they are worth growing.
