Trying to find news of storm in west Florida.

One tv meteorologist said most news is good news. Police patrol is returning as of right now. I should look at the Keys ... Storm lost considerable wind speed while still in the Gulf.

Power outage reports went from 2.5 million to 5.5 million really quickly last night.

Storm now heading towards @so lucky where it will began to track more in a @seedcorn direction ... LINK

Florida Keys news is limited.

Electric power seems to be the problem with that. As best as I can understand, even the county's emergency services evacuated before the storm. Guess that makes sense.

There is a McClatchy newspaper guy in Marathon. And, the NWS has Key West information. I think that they are actually there.

last friday saw 8 tractor trailer generator units heading south, yesterday saw around 400 power utility trucks going south. good to see that when theres a major disaster that the power companies work together to help get the power back on... hats off to all the linemen.......
