It is 15 and feels like -9. More snow. DS said the truck doors were froze shut. Went out and gave rabbits fresh water. Got the greenhouse and all the stuff in the house. I have my robe on, a heating pad in my lap, and a blanket.

I said in another thread we woke up to 6" of snow, wrong hubby measured before he cleaned his truck off, 8" of the stuff fell sometime after midnight. Looking out my kitchen window a couple of minutes ago...

Well the window is clean on the inside:oops:. And here I thought we were home free after just having a dusting a couple of months ago. Mother Nature got a mad on at @Nyboy and me:(.

The snow won't be going away anytime soon here! @thistlebloom , you okay with that ;)??

It's in real-time single digitS' this morning again -- wind chill plays into the picture, too. Yesterday, there were some low temperature records set along the border. It's colder this morning so it may be another record day, here and there.

Montana has been dang cold and I see that California has cooled off from very warm temperatures coming up to the recent days. On national TV, zoo scenes from Portland Oregon with elephants and such in the snow .. :) .. and that's my weather report in the West ;).

The snow is off the roads here but everywhere else it's sticking. The temps have really dropped the last couple of nights and my thermometer says it's 24ºf outside right now. A little unusual for February here, by now things are usually starting to warm up.

Yes. :) I'm catching up on the kicksledding. These very frozen temps make the footing really fast!

HOWEVER... I really switched gears with that phony spring we had, got psyched up for starting work early, getting the ball rolling in the garden and yard work.... this has really messed with me.

But, I'm going to roll with it, embrace it and do what needs doing till spring actually arrives. And I hope she's on time.

I keep looking at the weather for March and April. I think end of March or first of April there might be a chance to get the garden tilled and plant onions, kale, collards and cabbage. I will have the box covered for lettuce and things like that. I think the low yesterday was -10. it is a sunny 18 right now with more snow coming Friday through the weekend. I don't care. I have my greenhouse getting ordered tomorrow. I caught a sale at Joann's. LOL Saved $40 and went to store with more coupons to pick up my order and saved another $30, signed up for the online learning videos for first month free and $4.99 each month after, so let it snow.

The Sunshine & Blue Skies are Glorious!

Extra special because I can't find my no-hole trays ... I'm hoping that the soil mix thaws out in the greenhouse and I'll have to use the big basin out there to set a couple of containers in water (not ice!) to soak. Dripping through the afternoon and will bring the containers into the kitchen this evening.

I should be sprinkling some seed in them soon!
